USSF Referee Certification and Recertification Requirements for 2017:

USSF/ISRC requirements for 2017, with links and instructions, may be found under the CLINICS tab at the top of our website.  If you have any questions, please contact the ISRC Office @ 847-690-9881 or info@IllinoisSoccerRefereeCommittee.org

SPONSORSHIP CONTRACT:

The ISRC and Official Sports have renewed their contract thru 2019 for Official Sports to act as the EXCLUSIVE official sponsor to ISRC for referee uniforms, referee apparel, and referee equipment.

PLAYER INJURIES:

If an injury occurs, it is the Coach/Trainer that must make the decision, and take responsibility for the decision to allow a player to re-enter a game.  However, once back in the game the Referee must require the player to leave the field if he or she feels that the player is still injured.

If a serious injury, the Referee and his Assistant Referees should document and report to the League, on the Game Report Form, the team, player number, time, and the nature of the injury e.g., head injury, possible broken leg, etc.  A copy of the Game Report Form may be found under the Assault/Abuse Procedures (bullet to the left).

Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact the office.

  • For signs, symptoms and action plan on concussions in youth sports, go to Resources, then Cinic Hand-outs.
  • To read about Concussion Case Studies, go to Resources, then Concussion Case Studies (ESPN).
