7 CAUTIONABLE OFFENSES: A player is cautioned and shown the yellow card for committing any one of seven offenses.


7 SENDING-OFF OFFENSES:  A player, substitute or substituted player is sent off and shown the red card for committing any one of seven offenses.


 FOULS-MISCONDUCT CHART:  A summary chart for the items listed in Law 12.

GAME EXPERIENCE RECORD: Referees should maintain a cumulative game record. This record is required for any Referee wishing to upgrade.


LIGHTNING SAFETY: There are specific rules to follow if lightning should occur before or during a game.


REFEREE ASSAULT/DO'S AND DON'T'S: Procedures have been developed to assist Referees if they are assaulted, as well as a list of Do's and Don'ts for the Referee.


REFEREE UNIFORMS: Referees are required to have an official uniform.


START AND RE-START CHART: There are eight methods of re-starting play in soccer. The USSF has developed a start and re-start chart to simplify these eight methods.
