BACKGROUND CHECK: Effective with the 2011 Soccer Season, any referees 18 years of age and older, officiating Youth Games affiliated with the Illinois Youth Soccer Association (IYSA), and ALL Assessors, Assignors, and Instructors in Illinois must fill out a Background Check EVERY OTHER YEAR. The cost of the Background Check, at your own expense, is $5.00 payable by credit card on-line.

• ALL Referee Grades 7, 6, and 5 must get an annual maintenance assessment and fitness test to maintain your grade level.
• For maintenance assessment forms, go to REFEREE tab, then Maintenance Assessments. Fitness Tests are posted under clinic schedule.

• BACKGROUND CHECKS for 2011 ------- If you had a Background Check in 2010, you will not need another one until 2012. ------- CLINICS for 2011 - Approximately 100-150 clinics will be posted as received (posting usually begins in late October).
